Enjoy an eye-popping gander at the fantastic North American roadside motels of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. I am an accumulator of motel postcards, and I've made it my life's work to share them with you here.

New Frontier Beach Motel - Daytona Beach, FL
You've really got to applaud the chutzpah and imagination of going with a Wild West theme motel on the banks of the Atlantic Ocean in 1960s Florida. This one promises both "weenie roasts" and "dancing" on the back.
I stayed at this motel in 1969 and watched the moon launch from the beach. Did my very first( and LAST) dive into a pool there and loved the whole family atmosphere. I remember the "greased watermelon" contest! Sure miss this place! Thanks for the memories!
